Drive through the beautiful Spiti valley. Routes are snow-covered and nature at its best. Mountain mountains and more mountains. If mountains aren’t your thing, this road trip probably isn’t the one for you. And if they are? You’re in for a treat. We lost count of the number of times during this trip that we were left physically unable to voice any words.

• Enjoy the flexibility of a private vehicle, the local knowledge of a passionate team, and the magic of camping under the great Spiti valley. 
• Immerse yourself in a world most people can only imagine, with its rich culture and Mountain communities.
• This is a true Overlanding trip, and the journey is a big part of the experience. On some days of the trip, you will spend several hours driving, often through very sparse areas of the Spiti valley.
• This trip requires a decent level of agility and stamina, as it involves a lot of driving, allowing you to get among nature. The Drive is particularly a bit challenging due to gravel roads and harsh snowy conditions.
• We try and ensure to get the best of the facilities for our guests still, we recommend carrying a sleeping bag with a -15 rating & a quilt. It comes in handy at times of natural calamity etc.
• If you feel you are an amateur driver for these conditions, relax we all have learned and we shall be by your side at all times.
• Winters are early this year so we would recommend carrying proper winter clothing with multiple layers.

Day 01

Theog

Welcome to Theog. Briefing, Vehicle Scrutiny Check, and Expedition Wireless system handover.  Relax and know the team and fellow expedition enthusiasts.   If you are driving from any part of the country and you cross Delhi NCR - Join us as we shall start early morning from Delhi to Theog. Driving together will be fun.

Day 02

Theog - Sangla _ Batseri

After a Sumptuous breakfast, we take a relaxed drive towards Sangla valley.  En route, you will cross the magnificent  Karcham Dam and its small siblings.   As we enter the Sangla valley, it gets prettier with every Km & Batseri though very underrated yet a very beautiful village next to the Baspa river.  Our home for the next two days is in a contemporary facility located @ 8700ft surrounded by pine trees, overlooking the Baspa river.  Relax, unwind and enjoy the jungle ambiance with a cozy bonfire.

Day 03

Rakcham - Chitkul -Batseri

A short drive today will take us to the last village on the Indian border towards Tibet -Chitkul  Immerse yourself in some extreme UV Light. Take pictures to enjoy the local cuisine Let's be a local tourist and enjoy the locally made Tibetan cuisine   A relaxed evening to share your experiences over drinks around the bonfire overlooking the entire Sangla valley

Day 04

Batseri _ Nako _ Tabo

We start early with a challenging drive ahead & plenty of photo opportunities.   We stop at  Nako for lunch and explore the place.  From here we start descending towards Chango & we get to see nature's amazing creation "MoonLand" (A naturally carved mountain that resembles the surface of the moon) with a striking contrast to the surrounding terrain.   Tonight night's halt at KAZA.

Day 05

Kaza _ Komic _ Hikkim _ Langza _ Key _ Kaza

The day is yours to explore the Kaza valley and the amazing places like  Langza, Key, Komic & Hikkim. Stroll around in Village to experience their culture.

Day 06

Kaza - Kaza

Entire Free day.  Walk-Into the village, Go to the river bed,  enjoy the valley the way you wish   We will attempt to Explore the Kumzum pass as it's completely covered in more than 15 feet of snow.   Day to enjoy your skills on snow drifting and pure 4x4 fun.

Day 07

Kaza - Kalpa

Our destination today is the quint village of Kalpa, Overlooking the magnificent Kinner Kailash mountain range - It is mesmerizing.  Narrow single lanes to Kalpa take you back in time and a fresh breeze is a blessing.

Day 08

Kalpa _ Theog

last day of our journey as we head back to our Start location of Theog.  Share drinks over a bonfire to comomerate an experience of a lifetime.

We have a small convoy starting from Delhi on the 22nd Morning. In case you traveling from any part of the country & transit via Delhi you may join us, will be a pleasure driving along.

All nights accommodation will be on a twin sharing basis( cleaned & sanitized )

If you are on any sort of regular medication, please feel free to inform us in advance. Ensure to carry your regular medication dosage.

Those suffering from any serious medical conditions such as weak heart, epilepsy, back / spinal problems (such as slip disc) & expecting mothers are not allowed. Severe Medical attention may not be readily available due to scarcity of resources.
